fuzzygroove is a forum for the thinking people to inspire, be inspired, converse, collaborate, discuss, and connect. We are trying to create a place to organize with one another and stop wasting all our talents on bullshit. We are the people who run the future, let's figue out how to make our future!

The internet wasn't always synonymous with e-commerce. In fact, the media frenzy and internet business boom is an extremely recent phenomenon. Less than five years ago most people would have been stumped at the www.com plastered on a billboard. e-Commerce hadn't yet gotten ahold of the corporations, hypertext was finally catching on, and the only sites online were all about programmers' cats. We've come a long way from those times, but unfortunately it would seem that many people see the internet as nothing more than a point-and-click shopping mall

Before all the startups were starting up, people were using the internet to communicate in groups. Small websites started popping up with ideas and information to share. It was an amazing thing to be able to chat across borders and reach out to a huge mass of people without a shitload of cash in the bank. It seems that people are already jaded by this, and everyone has forgotten the immense power that is, for a limited time, truly in our hands. The hands of the masses.

There are so many talented people online. So many intelligent thinkers and problem solvers, artists and musicians. Each with his/her own set of morals, issues, problems, and skills. We're tired of seeing everyone thrash around wildly trying to stay afloat amongst the pressures and bureaurocracy that so swiftly drowns out any quality of life in favor of survival and conformity.

It's time to Wake the Fuck Up!
